VERSATALITY IN MUMBAI SHOWS IT ALL....

Mumbai-- located to the East coast of Mother India BUT tightly fitted in hearts of every Mumbaikar!!Mumbai not only accepts and makes them its own the inside Indians but true to its dynamic and acccepting nature even accepted the BRITISHES who were outsiders!! Mumbai is where most of the people dream to set their life...but the one who stays here knows how difficult it is to survive here. Mumbai is motely of unrelated homo-sapiens clubbed together for one or the other reason. The thing which literally petrifies me in mumbai is..hhmmmmm lol almost everything...from potholes on roads to traffic..from late trains to the "super pathetic" rush in train... from jamm packed markets to people fighting for lame things in market...from high class mentality to low class mentality...i mean come on why a normal person can't think "normally"...cause its very clear that high class people have their "all-time-money-talks" and low class people have their "so-called-money-deficiency-talks".....
This blog doesnt have only my thoughts about mumbai but couple of nights before i was working on some psychological cases of mine, n even was chatting with a close friend..i asked him his views on versatality in mumbai, so perhaps, there are his words too in this blog. Its difficult to point to 'A'- particular thing, but when it comes to mumbai, first thing that pops in my mind is being a "mumbaikar"...
 my friend said "my mind thinks of A MUMBAIKAR, which is a SET and Subsets are;
Marathi Gujarati Punjabi Sindhi Parsi Malayali Tamilian; and they all live in one peace in this great city, travel on same buses trains and taxis... see each other sometimes smile at each others sometimes also fight with each other..but hey Jaha pyaar hai waha hi toh takraar hai, thats Mumbai for him...wow isnt this amazing i mean i never thought about mumbai in this perspective..because the negative issues about mumbai created such an pathetic aura in my mind that it never generated such wonderfull thought....every thing in this world has cons and pros....i have always looked mumbai by an international eyes, which is perhaps very organized...anyways whatever it may be, the conclusion is, wherever you go Egypt, Malaysia, London, USA...blah blah; the one who knows the real essence of Mumbai will come back here again, WE MUMBAIKARS BET.
Hope Mumbai never changes, it stays as it was, unorganized, noisy, weird...but "lovely"..

As my title says...i am happy to have you as my mentor and as my shield..yes my brother Sachin has always been a god's gift for me...the one who scolds if things go astray..loves unconditionally no matter what...guides the way to success...accompanies during ups and downs...supports whenever needed...acts as an open book...lends shoulder to lean on and cry...finds the best reasons to laugh...walks hand in hand as a best friend .. who works with dedication n whose assumptions falls in place most of the time (lol).....and promises to be with till the last breath.....a small but a wholesome defination about him...
you might be having brothers who might have acted the same, but for me he is unique and only one with no proper definition to define. He was always more than my parent to me and will be forever. Thanks a lot bhai for always been there for me in blue and black..heres a poem dedicated to you.

Brother brother brother of mine,
Now that I got you and u make me float on cloud  nine,
This brother is so sweet,
It took us so long to greet,
It is fun to have a brother and
For all these years I had nothing to bother,
When in sorrow u are there to lift,
Brother you are none other than god’s precious gift…
Oh brother I’ll listen to what you say,
Will you stay by my side?
Until my final day?

Love you always,
hugs &kisses.
Ur loving sister.

FaCTs Or SuPerStiTiOnS....whats your choice??

A man went to an astrologer to check his horoscope. After peering at the calculation carefully, the astrologer looked up and said to the anxious inquirer,"Sir, it appears that your future holds horror than scope". The stars, planets and eclipse. The black cats, owls and cows. The fluttering of an eyelid, a bout of hiccups, a dream. In this world, almost is without a meaning or bereft of an interpertation. Many tie lemons and chillis to thier doorways or vehicles to ward off evil spirits. Other wear exotics rings on their fingers and talismans around their necks. Abroad, people avoid walking on cracks in the pavement, or beneath a ladder or acquiring a flat on the 13th floor of a building. And for the heaven's sake don't drop that mirror! If it breaks, it means seven years of bad luck! lolz isnt that rubbish??
Are these superstitions or is their some truth in any of this??In schools we were taught a law which reigns above all the others in the universe, called Murphy's Law. It states categorically, "if anything can go wrong. it will". Sooner or later something goes wrong in almost everbody's life and you may conclude that your misfortunes were due to a tantric casting spells upon you when in fact your bad luck was merely to complex and unforeseenable environmental, social or financial events. I think we create our own mindsets then interpret our own situation in a way that fulfills it.What ever the answer to this conundrum, one thing should be understood clearly: the greatest and the most powerful of 'tantrics' is God. One who has deep and single-minded devotion to god need not fear tantrics or ill omens. Gosh i'v seen people changing their state of mind acc. to their tantrics or astrologer. Even if outwardly it appears some evil force is harming them, themselves understand that what is happening is happening only because of the will of their lord, to whom they have surrerdered themselves .For such devotees,God himself becomes thier surety and security. So if one day you find someone has thrown mung seeds or placed a lemon in front of your doorsteps, thanks the person, collect the seeds together, wash them, boil them, offer them with love to the deity and have a hearty meal. Or else give them to some poor person or donate them at the mondir.Keep your faith in god firm and continue on your way unruffles.

The Humanity of Vegetarianism.......

Vegetarianism..-da term which people hardly put their eye on....people who eat meat should realise that animals are conscious too.the human mind is sicknened and repulsed when realizes the truth. Animals also have feelings just as we have. They have a social hierarchy with a leader like we do.They have loyalties among the group like we do.They have affection between parents and siblings like we do.They can intuit death and fear it just as most of us do.Like us they also have a life that they want to keep.Ex-Beatle and now pure vegetarian Paul Mc Cartney was a meat eater until he saw the orphaned lambs of sheep sent to alaughterhouse. It was the last time he had put meat in his mouth."If animals could speak" said Mc Cartney cradling one of the small lambs in his arms,"I think they would tell us not to eat them"
There are also many outdated medical theories circulating in the society about eating meat--one of them being the claim that flesh i sessential ingredient of our diet if we are to remain healthy. But there could me nothing further than the truth! Today after decades of research, doctors all over the world are recanting.Said Dr. William Castelli,Director of Framington Heart Study," vegetarians ahve the best diet. They have the lowest rates of coronary disease of any group and have only 40% of cancer rate." There is another myth which has now demolished ,too: eating meat makes the body stronger than a vegetarian's,but it doesnt. Al beckles,Andreas Cahling,Bill Pearl and Covy Everson are all body builders who have won the "World Champion" and "Mr. Universe" and "Mr Olympia" titles multiple times! And all of theses superbly fir the sport's figure;are pure and strict vegetarians!
Said George Bernard shaw,"My stomach is not the graveyard for the dead animals". Disgust for animals- particularly for food-is not new. Many great personalities of the past who chose to remain vegetarian - Plato,Aristotle,Pythagorus,Shakespeare,Leonardo de Vince,Benjamin Franklin,Thomas Edison,Albert Einstein,Michael Jackson, Mahatma Gandhi and many more.... Today to there are great number of famous personalities who have turned to vegetarianism : Madonna,Sting,Carl Lewis,Elton John,Geoffrey Julianne-alias-"Ronald McDonald"-the famous clown of McDonald's Hamburger food chain.Julianne later resigned frm the advertising for McDonald's after realizing the inhumanity of slaughterhouse, then he became a vegetarian and issued a statement to press: "MEAT IS MURDER".
Lastly some people argued that God created animals to be eaten, but the bible and Hindu scriptures says 'no'. Says bible, "Thou shall not kill","i'll give you every seed bearing fruit be you food"(Genesis 1-29-31). "you shall not eat the fat of any ox or sheep or goat"(leviticus 7:22:27). Meat of animals is like the flesh of one's own son, and the foolish person who eat it must be considered the cruelest and the vilest of human beings". Just for a moment keep yourself in the place of that animal whose flesh you are eating now and think about your murder, how will you feel when you'll be killed and eaten by other human that too just for the satisfaction and pleasure. Just think??
Eating flesh is ongoing atrocity committed by certain sectores of human race-mostly for the purpose of satisfying their taste buds. But thankfully, times have begun to change and millions of people around the world are turning towards vegetarianism.Ultimately, said Leonardo de Vince,"Atime will come when men will look upon the murder of animals as they look upon the murder of men". Hope, people will agnize the importance of other human life;may be men or animal.
